DiDi Rentals ("we," "us," or "our") operates a travel accommodation comparison service. This policy explains what information we collect when you use didirentals.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

We have deliberately built the site to need very little from you: there are no accounts, no logins, and we never ask for or handle payment details.

When you click through to check availability or book, you leave DiDi Rentals and enter a property's own site or that of its booking partner. From that point their privacy policy governs, and anything you enter — dates, guest details, payment information — is collected by them, not by us.

Listing photographs are served directly from the accommodation provider's image servers, and property maps are embedded from OpenStreetMap. Loading a page therefore involves requests to those providers, who may record standard technical data such as your IP address.

We may share information with service providers who host the site or provide analytics on our behalf, and where required by law.

The site itself does not require cookies to browse, filter or search — filtering happens in your browser. Where cookies or similar technologies are used, for example by an embedded map or analytics, they are limited to making those features work and to aggregate measurement.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so may affect embedded features such as maps, but will not stop you browsing stays.

Messages you send us are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records. Technical logs are retained for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to receive a copy in a portable format.

Because bookings are held by the provider rather than by us, requests about a reservation should be directed to the provider named in your confirmation.

This site is intended for adults booking travel. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

We list stays in several countries and may be accessed from anywhere. Information you send us may be processed in a country other than your own, which may have different data protection laws.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date below shows when it was last revised.
